We were there on September 26th with 4 women, great food, friendly service, a great restaurant, sometimes a bit different from the other Italians. Without pizza and so, only specialties ,,, best Italian I've ever eaten, Chef cooks himself, little menu, and he came to the table at the end and asked if everything is ok. The card is only brought after 15 minutes, and not even completely. Because the day pass was missing, it was passed to us from the next table. There is only a sparse selection of types and types of pasta. The antipasto platter was good. Otherwise the food is very expensive, but tastes bland and tasteless. However, the help was willing to bring salt and pepper on request. Two or three years ago the pasta was still good (see picture) and they still have good wines like Cà dei Frati and Nero d'Avola, but over time the taste and the desire to cook has probably been lost. Too bad. Better go to "Il Faro". It's cheaper there and tastes twice as good. And they also have more pasta variants there.

Not all of the tables were occupied on the inside and only one was occupied outside. 50 minutes later a look in the restaurant revealed the same status as before. Outside there was another table occupied but also the only one!

A place furnished with many lovely details in the former laundry / hot shortage of the island. Very delicious food in a nice atmosphere. A pretty outside terrace has recently been added. High quality, first class Italian cooked by an Italy lover. All in all, a visit here is a MUST when visiting the island. Reservation required after the innkeeper wins the Insel-Koch duel! 😀👍

We were in the restaurant in June 2020. Actually, everything was OK, we thought. Food prices absolutely okay. You don't get a wine list! Attention and you should definitely ask what each wine costs. Otherwise you are like us. Not asked for the price of a bottle of red wine (Primitivo, so nothing special). The receipt for this came with the invoice, € 49 per bottle and we (2 men) had 2 of them. The first was too warm, the second too cold. The bill was € 285 (4 people). We will eat there again, but not so blue-eyed anymore! Otherwise, the service has the duty (if no wine list available) to offer wine including the price. Otherwise (exorbitant price) remains a bland aftertaste.

Stayed for breakfast and it was really good. The ham, salami and cheese were sliced ​​fresh, the homemade jam was great, bread rolls were still handed to us when the others were empty. Condition was friendly and always looked for the right one.

Extremely friendly service and simple food, using wonderful ingredients. I showed up when the place was closing, but the owner still offered a bottle of wine and a great dish of pasta. Highly recommended — an exceptional service on the island filled with abhorrant tourist traps.
